I’m David, and Daily Angler is my site.
I also run a few fishing pages on Facebook where I post short videos every day. Those pages taught me something: a good tip in a feed scrolls away in a day. People kept asking the same questions in the comments. Where are the fish this month? What should I throw? Why did they stop biting?
So I built this site to keep the answers in one place, organized by species and by season, so you can come back to them when you need them.
How the content is built
Everything on Daily Angler comes from the four Mastery guides I publish for bass, crappie, catfish and walleye. The pages here give you the core of each system for free. The guides go deeper, and when a guide gets better, every buyer gets the update for free.
I don’t sell tackle and nobody pays me to recommend gear. When a page mentions a lure or a technique, it’s there because it fits the situation, not because of a sponsor.
A few ground rules
- Fishing rules change from state to state and year to year. Always check your state’s current regulations before you go.
- Safety comes before any fish. Life jacket on, eyes on the weather, and off the water when lightning shows up.
- I read and answer every message myself. If you have a question or a problem with a guide, get in touch.
